South Australia has received a small interim allocation of skilled visa nomination places for the 2025–26 program year, provided by the Commonwealth Government.

Because of the limited allocation, Skilled and Business Migration (SBM) will not be accepting new Registrations of Interest (ROI) at this stage. Priority will go to strong candidates already in the system, particularly those who submitted ROIs in the 2024–25 program year and are actively contributing to the state’s workforce.

A full set of policy settings and program details for 2025–26 will be released once the Commonwealth Government confirms the state’s complete allocation.
