Are you a Pacific Islander who would like permanent residency in Australia?
There is a new visa pathway for you.
The Subclass 192 Pacific Engagement Visa ballot is now open for registrations until 2 August 2024.
Citizens from a number of Pacific island countries including Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Timor-Leste aged between 18-45 years of age can register their interest for a the 192 visa; a direct application for permanent residency.
Up to 3000 places will be available each financial year, split across each of the participating countries.
Some key points:
· Applicants can be in or outside Australia at the time of registration and invitation
· Family members can be included
· All applicants must meet health and character requirements, and all other visa criteria
· Invitations are issued randomly, so there is no guarantee of selection.
A registration fee of AU$25 applies to enter the ballot. If invited, separate fees for the 192 visa application will apply.
