Important update for skilled visa applicants!
Queensland has officially closed its 2024–25 State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP) as of May 27, 2025.
This means:
- ROIs are no longer being accepted for the onshore, graduate, offshore, and regional small business owner pathways.
- Applications already submitted will continue to be assessed.
- ROIs for second-stage business visas (subclass 888) are still open.
If you were considering Queensland skilled migration this financial year but haven’t submitted your ROI, you’ll now need to wait for the 2025–26 program details, which will be released in due course.
