Confirmed! From 1 July 2024, UK Passport holders on a Subclass 417 Working Holiday Maker visa will no longer need to complete any specified work also known as ‘regional work’ to obtain a second or third 417 visa.
Important Reminder: The 6-month work limitation, preventing 417 holders from working more than 6 months per 417 visa still applies to UK passport holders.
Please note some exemptions to the 6-month work limitation are available to some industries and remote areas of Australia.
