The Northern Territory (NT) Government has received enough applications for the 2024-25 program year and has suspended new applications for General Skilled Migration (GSM) nominations. All applications submitted before the suspension will still be assessed, and those who qualify will receive nominations.
The program will reopen for new applications in the 2025-26 program year. However, some onshore applicants with specific visa deadlines before 1 July 2025 can still apply by exception.
If you are onshore with a visa expiring soon, it is crucial to seek professional advice to explore your visa options and ensure you remain lawful in Australia.
